But I don't want to buy tax!

One of the gifts Miss received on her Bday was a twenty dollar bill. I asked Miss if she would like to buy something or deposit it in her account. She took little time in deciding to purchase some (more- ugh) toys.

At the store she learned that a Barbie could take your whole budget while a Strawberry Shortcake leaves room for more purchases. As she carefully added toys to the basket we added the total together to keep careful track of her budget. As she passed the $19.00 mark I reminded her that she needed to leave about a dollar for the tax. "Tax?" she asks... "But I don't want to buy Tax." Although I tried to explain the concept of taxes, I have to admit it is tough to present taxes in a way that outshines another ball or bottle of bubbles. In the end Miss ended up with a Strawberry Shortcake play set, a book, some bunny toys, a ball, and the tax.

I don't wanna buy tax either... I can relate, and after writing a HUGE check to the IRS, I really am feeling like pic... bottom lip out!
