PROMISES

The little Miss has been doing a lot of future planning lately. Future planning like: "Homework will be so boring, Mommy. (Where does she get this stuff?) Will you help me?" and "What if I have too much homework? How will I play with you? You will get too lonely without me when I do all my work!"

I PROMISED her I will do everything I can to make her homework fun.

Anyone who knows ME, knows I have a wee bit of trouble remembering things, and little Miss seemed less than convinced I would remember. Oh how to ease the future worries of a four year old.....

We made a PROMISES list.

Item #1

I PROMISE I will help you with your homework. I PROMISE I will do my best to make your homework FUN. I will act out your stories as you read them, I will count and eat M&M’s to make math enjoyable. I will help you with all my attention and enthusiasm- I PROMISE, Love Mom.

Now just to craft something up to make the list a bit more ascetically pleasing (and less mis-place-able) than the notepad magnet on the side of the fridge.... any thoughts?
