**KABOOM**
**THUMP**
I go racing from our closet into Mya's room...
"What was that?" I asked Mya as she lay snuggled in bed with her head against the wall.
"What?" she replied with a sleepy eyed squint.
"That BOOM- it shook the wall!" I said.
She giggled, "It shook?"
"Yes, I thought you picked yourself up and flung yourself at the wall." I replied.
She laughs.
"Was it your head, leg, butt....." I ask as I inspect her for injury.
The whole time she is laughing.
Whatever it was must not have inflicted injury.
As I crawled into her bed we were talking, tickling, being silly, and giggling.
I told her that I love it when she wakes up laughing and smiling and that I wish that type of morning for all of her days.
She reminded me that I am a "Goofy goofer mommy."
It reminded me of mornings with my Dad. As his little family herd lazily snoozed in bed. He would break into the "Good morning to you" song- with all the tone and rhythm of a drunken best man at a wedding.
Ahhh the "Good morning to you" song.
I have a Good morning smile just remembering it.
