Saturday evening found our little herd bored. Ray searched for kids movies playing at the theaters with no luck. (Can you believe there are ZERO kids movies in theaters right now?) After a while of the three of us lying on the bed pondering a fun evening activity Ray mentioned the parking lot carnival at the mall. You know the ones that show up for a weekend and then move on... I was shocked! He really hates fairs and carnivals.

So, after his suggestion, we all loaded up and went to the carnival. (yep no camera- grrr) I am grounded until the belly invader makes his worldly entrance, so I participated as a prize holding spectator. I watched as Ray threw darts, sprayed cannons, and stuffed himself into kiddie ride after kiddie ride. I watched Miss looking up at her Daddy smiling and thrilled to be with him. I was thrilled to be with them. I love our herd. I love the dynamics and the way we all fall naturally into a working unit. I am one lucky lady.
