On day 8 we went to the Phoenix zoo to splash in the water spouts.
We soon discovered there was a much better splash pad area. It has slides and a cave and a small stream. It also has an annoying kid with a toy truck. As he ran over Little Mr's fingers for the second time I debated kicking a nice foot-full of h20 in his face. I then made eye contact with his 350lb- equally protective looking- Mama on the bench.... Hmmmmm you win this round little truck driving turd....... Thanks to said little turd drama there are no pictures of this cool area- but trust me, you really should check it out!
After hours of splish splashy fun, we headed to the sting rays.
Miss was able to feed them thanks to some donated fish food. (No, I did not bring any cash... bad Lisa- tisk tisk)
I was informed by the same kind fish food donor that my sweet little man was sticking his tongue in the sting ray water. Yummy.
It was a splash-tastic day.
Happy we Lucky me.
