On Saturday we went to the park. Ray was pushing Little Miss on the swing when a girl came to swing on the next swing over. The girl called out for her Dad to push her. He lazily wandered over and began his fatherly swing pushing duties. Miss calls out "Higher Daddy" the girl calls "Higher Daddy!" Both girls follow by competitive giggling and sounds of enthusiasm. Again "Higher!" "Higher!" and more giggling.
Miss exclaims "My Daddy pushes the highest!"
The girl cries "My Daddy pushes Higher!"
The Daddies shake their heads
The competitive giggling continues.
The balance of swinging was spent comparing their in house toy inventories, sibling status, and age.
As we left the swings Miss treated her Daddy to the "Biggest" hug as she was leaving for the "Best" toy store.
