From Black to Stainless

Our refrigerator has been suffering from extreme personality disorder. Some days the groceries are frozen, sometimes they are barely cool. After deciding that 1) Our fridge is 9 years old 2) This problem has arisen and been fixed before and 3) New refrigerators are really shiny clean and pretty...

We bought a new one.

It is stainless.... all of our other appliances are black. It is pretty. It makes our cabinets look even uglier. (Picture stainless and black appliances with WHITEWASH cabinets that are a 90's shade of pink. Yummy.) It has the double door top fridge part with the two drawer freezer on the bottom. Dad says (quite sarcastically) everyone should own that kind.. (so they can have the experience of burying frozen goods in the bottom of a drawer.) Note to self: keep drawers organized, because nobody likes an "I told you so".

Notes about me and a the new fridge:

I am grateful we could afford a new fridge.

I am too cheap to fix the cabinet color right now.

I want a new stove.

I am equally too cheap to buy a new stove.

I really enjoy having things come out of the fridge (like they should) cold, but not frozen.
