Well, one trip to the vet, one scheduled recheck, 3 medications, $170.00, and stressed out pooch later we now know that the little Peanut has seriously messed up his little knee. If he were bigger and/or fatter he would be having surgery. Thankfully he is tiny (4.5lbs). He will be on drugs for a few weeks and has a nasty limp/hop/dangling ouchy leg thing going on.
The vet said he tore a ligament below his knee cap. (I kinda didn't even know dogs had knee caps.) So keep the stinky little guy in your thoughts- he has a nasty boo boo.
