The great prioritizer

Everyone who knows ME, knows I make FABULOUSLY efficient use of my time, right?
So, in keeping with my time management skills I have embarked on yet another time consuming project. (No Dad, I have not finished the baseboards, and Yes, I still need your nail gun and compressor.) It all started when I stacked my 5,854 spools of ribbon on a cupcake stand. Cute. Then they kept falling off. Grrr. So I decided I would make these wheel/dowel contraptions to help it all stay in place. Um, a little rational thought and I realized - that would not fix the falling ribbon issue. So, I am back to the idea I blog napped. I re found it on this web site: www.nicholeheady.typepad.com/capture_the_moment/2008/01/ribbon-jar.html

Here are some pictures of her ribbons:
I used fabric-tac instead of pins to hold the ribbon ends... I don't like the idea of digging through jars of poky things.

So as you can imagine rolling 5,854 spools of ribbon is tedious and time consuming. I am so happy with the results so far. You will have to wait for the office reveal to see the finished project... but it will be soo worth the wait.
