A killer amongst us

The yard at the Balsam house is the

playground

for many birds throughout the day.

There are sparrows, and black birds, chickadee, and quail.

The birds are happy and hopping around snacking on

whatever it is they dine on in the lawn.

A new kind of bird has been showing up lately..

I have in fact seen three of them in the past month...

the dead bird.

I was concerned and puzzled at the appearance of this

new bird, until we spotted another new critter in the area-

THE OUTDOOR CAT.

Let me harp for a quick moment...

If you are one of those cat owners

that allow it to roam free-

you are

A JERK!

Cats go out get hit by cars, get sick,

get injured, and kill other critters,

(and stick me- with their mess to clean up)

and

POOP

in

every one's

yards-

(also leaving a mess to be cleaned)

So if you are one of these jerks...

STOP IT!

Take your lovely little kitty back in the house,

if you aren't willing to deal with a litter box

get

rid

of

your

cat.

(or teach it to use your toilet- I've heard

they can do that)

AND- Don't be mad at me when your

(stray-with-a-home kitty)

comes dragging itself home with

a limp and a green butt cheek...

my paint ball gun is at the ready.
