Deep thoughts: from Barbie

It is no secret that Little Miss is a

Big Barbie fan.

Beyond the dolls, she is also a

collector/watcher/performer

of all 567,152,867 Barbie movies.

I personally have seen every

Barbie movie at least 6 times.

I know that there are those Barbie haters out

there that believe there is nothing valuable

to be gained from the Pink plastic princess

but a lowered self image and an eating disorder.

I must disagree, at least at my house.

Little Misses Barbies care for each other, they

"save' each other from disastrous falls from

The Diamond Castle, the vanity, the dog bed, and any

other place they find themselves. They are all (30 of them)

a family with Mothers and Sisters, daughters and friends.

As for the movies:

Barbie always saves the day. She is strong and

brave, smart and loyal. She is the one who rescues

the guy, and usually can do it in a ball gown.

She makes good choices and is always there

for her friends. As I try to teach those values to the Little Miss,

it's good to know that I have Barbie backing my lessons.
