You know how it is, you get a new hobby or interest and *BLAM* it is all you google, EBay, Etsy, Yahoo, pricegrabber, and basically dream. For me I have three new obsessions. I will share two of them with you..
Obsession #1
A 26" cement goose.
Yep. The cheesiest of all cheesy lawn ornaments- the mother of all that is wrong with old people.
The one thing on earth that could scream
"I am a ninety six year old single woman-
and Yes! I have 16 cats!"
And I absolutely- positively MUST have one.
and it MUST be the 25-26" cement one so I can
purchase the outfits to dress it to be seasonally appropriate.
Obsession #2
Cake plates.
Specifically the pretty retro colored ones like these ones from Mosser...
I want them all.
Ahh, the hours I could waste online.....

It's 8:06... how did that happen- eek!
Obsession #3 will have to wait for another day.

Would you like a donkey pulling a flower cart for your upcoming birthday. Would look GREAT in your front yard with the goose following, dressed appropiately for the season of course. We could also get some green dyed rock for your front yard and who would forget the roof owl to watch over everything. Perhaps a portch swing or chairs so you can watch the neighborhood while admireing your front yard ornaments. We may even have some of this stuff that you shamed us into putting in storage.
Hmmm, the cart is tempting, but I will have to remain loyal to my future Goose friend.
I do have a lovely porch bench from which to admire my future goose from. The owl and rock will have to wait for my taste to age a bit more....
I love the cake plates and I too have a bit of a collection going on... Too bad you didn't live near by... My friend MAKE cement statuary... I know he has these geese!
