Mothers day

We drove up to the rim to escape the heat on Mothers day. The drive up was filled with singing along to Mya's playlist on the Ipod. Some of the classics include "Apples and Bananas", "Mary Had a Little Lamb", and "Reflection". Here is a look from my seat- inside the car:

It is so beautiful at Woods Canyon this time of year. Mya took her fishing gear and tried to feed the minnows the pink sparkle marshmallow things. No takers there. She was adorable hiking up the trails. She kept all of us motivated saying things like, " I can do this" "I am tough up this steep path!", and "Here Mom Dad, hold my hand I will help you!". Too cute.

We really need to come here more often. It is so nice to get out for a little while.
