Meet George!

So, anyone who knows me know the anxiety I suffer when it comes to math. Just the word MMMAAATTTTHHHH makes me kinda itchy and my feet start to sweat. I know math is all about logic and applying formulas and blah blah blah.., but seriously, I think the main thing is memorization. Keep in mind, I am frequently found aimlessly wandering the WalMart parking lot looking for my car...(which is always exactly where I left it.)

So, in order to combat this whole math-deficiency I have, I have attempted to create a distraction free, happy place to do my homework. I have all the bases covered. I put fresh flowers on the table every week. (I pretend Ray bought them- just for a laugh...) I have my laptop, paper, books, pens, phones, etc. There are mementos from lost loved ones at my back and to the side... (hey, it works for the Chinese- I'll take all the support I can get....) There is a window to gaze out and usually a smelly dog or two close at hand. Lastly, there is George. George is the calculator I stole...um borrowed from Mya. He is pink and purple (her favorite colors) And well, the little guy just looks like he wants to hug ya. Seriously, how comforting is that, "here are your answers and ahh, you look stressed- give George a hug."
