The gift

OK, so I said I would spare you the visual on my special handmade gift.

I lied! Here is the delightful pair of slippers I received from my friend.

Everyone take a moment to appreciate the artistic beauty of these amazing maxi pad slippers!

I actually walked from one room to the next in these, and due to the little paper thingy on the bottom- I slipped and flopped right on my butt.

Here is the conversation that followed the incident:

"Did the diapers make you slip?" Mya asked. "Yes, silly things.", I replied. So she pauses a minute and looks at my feet asking, "Mommy, why do you have diapers on your feet?" To which I replied "They were a gift from Heather, and I want to send her a picture to show her how much I appreciate them." "Why did Heather give you diapers?" Mya asked. "Because she is crazy and cant help it." I replied. Another pause and then she smiled and left the room as if it all made sense now....
